Meet the Founders
Kathy Pike
Kathy Pike is the founder of the Mind Body Method (MBM), published author, coach, and leader in the area of Equine Facilitated Learning and Coaching (EFLC). As a Life Coach, she brings over 15 years experience in human development and personal growth.
Her compassionate, intuitive, and cutting edge approach in working with individuals helps her clients to reach their deepest level of truth, power, and ability to live with purpose and passion. Kathy’s Mind Body Method integrates all of the information and knowledge within a person's experience, bringing clarity and immediate results. She has coached thousands of individuals to find their voice and create their passion.
Kathy offers coaching, workshops, and training programs for individuals and groups, by phone, teleclasses, and in person. Her professional training courses include the Mind Body Method, a coach training course designed for life or professional coaches and individuals in helping professions.
Kathy offers a diverse background from her experience as a teacher for CoachU; a teacher at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, Naropa School of Extended Studies; and Colorado Mountain College. Her corporate training includes a certificate for the Coaches Clinic, through Corporate CoachU. Kathy has spoken at several ICF international conferences, along with several regional and local organizations.
As a leader in the newly emerging profession of EFLC, she presents her Mind Body Method and other key concepts of self-awareness at national conferences. She founded the Mind Body SIG that grew to a virtual membership of 350 coaches and hosted authors such as don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements.

Kathy is publishing her second book due out in Spring of 2009, Hope...From the Heart of Horses: How Horses Teach Us About Presence, Strength, and Awareness, which focuses on the power of horses to help humans grow.

Marilyn Schwader
As a Writing and Life Coach, Marilyn engages her strong sense of a writer’s abilities to support and motivate her clients to become published authors. She has found that her purpose in life is to give a voice to subjects that benefit others. Her mission is to provide truthful, clear, and motivating information to those who passionately desire more in their lives. She uses her two passions—coaching and storytelling—to convey this information to as many people as possible.
Marilyn graduated from Oregon State
University in Corvallis, Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Journalism with emphasis in Business Management. She worked for several years as a technical writer contracting to high tech companies in the United States and Pacific Rim countries.
In 1998 she enrolled in Coach University and started Clarity of Vision, Inc., a Business and Life Coaching practice. The law of attraction soon worked and her talents and experience in writing soon began drawing writing clients to her business.
To combine her coaching and writing experience, Marilyn created a book series written by coaches that highlights principles and ideas supported in the coaching process. Marilyn coached 100 authors in the series, each writing a chapter on their chosen topic. The Guide to Getting It series includes:

She is a channeler, empath, and energetic healer with 10 years of experience working with creatives and writers, using her Shamanic training to help her clients reconnect with the divine source of their genius and talents.
